German as a Foreign Language - Basic Course Please contact the VHS Lengerich for a German Basic Course if you live here and you haven‘t learned German so far, or if you have only little knowledge of the German language. In the German Basic Courses, specially trained teachers will: - teach you the most important phrases you will need in everyday situations (e.g. family life, shop- ping, home, working, housework, medical care, free time, etc.), - explain the basics of German grammar and - provide information about German culture and customs so that you will gradually feel more at home in Germany.
